Fifth Assignment

1) The project of my book is that in the real world these types of situations can really truly happen, so it is best to be on your guard if you meet someone new and there is something strange about them. So, the lesson is to not be overly trusting.

2) The main conflict in the book is character v. other. After Julie gets over the death of her husband she meets Richard. She likes him , but there is something not quite right about him and it seems that everyone around notices but Julie however does not. Eventually though, Julie does realize that Richard is changing and becoming more controlling as to where and who she is with, he also gets upset over stupid little things. In the end though it becomes a real life-or-death situation when Julies is left alone to try and escape from Richard because he has stopped those that care about her from coming to her rescue.

3) Well, it contributes by making the novel more interesting and definately more real-life by adding that suspense of having someone watching you without you realizing it.

4) Some other elements that add to the project is the act of surprise and not knowing what is going to happen next,
